Dear Jeff

This is the story of a family that was suddenly thrown into a nightmare due to a farming accident involving one of the children, the oldest child Jeff. The mother, Carmen, tells the story through a series of letters to Jeff. The letters begin on the day of the accident and continue throughout the years to come. Carmen also uses the letters to relate family stories to Jeff from her past, and events in the family as the years go by following his accident. 

Carmen hopes that their story can help people who are facing a tragedy like theirs. Maybe it will offer some perspective. It was a scary, lonely, intense, frustrating, and exhausting time, but their family came out the other side more or less okay. While they were searching for answers, she often wanted to find a voice of experience, someone who could relate to what their family was enduring. And so she offers you their story..
